The most-asked questions, in plain language.
1. In your broker's app, find the holdings export, usually under Holdings → download or export, and save it as CSV or Excel.
2. Upload it here, in Manage.
3. A preview appears. Check it, fix anything that looks off, then confirm. Nothing is saved to your portfolio until you do.
Zerodha, Groww, and HDFC Securities exports are recognized automatically. ICICI Direct, Kotak, and any other broker's export still works too, you just match up the columns yourself once the preview appears.
Every stock is grouped into a sector (like Banking or IT) and, optionally, a more specific subsector. For most NSE and BSE names, this is suggested automatically when you add the stock, and you can always change it in Manage if it's wrong or you'd rather group it differently. Sectors are what group your treemap into blocks and drive the sector-concentration checks on the Risk view, so getting them right, or close enough, makes both more useful.
Catch up answers one question: what happened since you last opened the app. It shows the holdings that moved beyond a threshold or had a filing, result, or piece of news, with everything else listed underneath so nothing is hidden. Tap any row for that stock's detail.
Separately, an alert fires the moment a holding moves ±2% or more, its trading volume spikes well above normal, or it files something with the exchange, and you can get an email for it based on your preferences in Manage. Email digests are capped at a few per person per day: once you hit the cap, later alerts that day still show in the app, they just stop generating a new email so you're not flooded.
On Overview, under "Coming up." It shows the next few scheduled events, results dates, ex-dividend dates, and more, for your holdings. Once an event has happened, it moves into Catch up instead.
Account oversight can see your email, your portfolio names, whether a portfolio has any stocks at all (just yes or no, never a count), when it was created, and when you last logged in. It can never see what anything is worth, how many shares you hold, or what specific stocks you own. More detail on the privacy page.
A family group lets members see each other's full portfolios. Nothing is shared automatically: someone creates a group and invites another member by email, and that person has to accept before anything changes. Once active, visibility is mutual and complete between members, that's the whole point, a shared household view, but it only ever happens by consent. Any member can leave a group any time from Manage, which instantly removes their holdings from every other member's view.
That means live pricing isn't available right now, usually because the market data connection hasn't been set up for today yet, or that one quote failed to come through this cycle. Your holdings themselves are never affected. Only the price is temporarily unknown, and it fills back in once pricing resumes.
Go to Manage → your account card at the top, and use the "Change password" fields there.
Go to Manage → your account card, and use "Delete account" under Danger zone. You'll be asked to confirm with your password. Deletion is permanent and immediate: your portfolios, holdings, and alert history are all removed. If you created a family group, deleting your account also deletes that group for every member.
It describes how concentrated your holdings are, in a single stock or a single sector, and does the plain arithmetic on what a 10% or 25% fall would actually cost you in rupees. It only ever states facts and numbers; it never tells you what to do about them.
